Accredited GeoExchange Drillers (AGD)
Garen N. Ewbank, Richard Hammett, Mike Barlow and Lee Hormell lead a group of drilling contractors that are available to drill your ground heat exchanger or "partner" with other contractors to install the earth side of the systems. Garen covers the entire U.S., Richard the Southeastern U.S. Mike the Northeastern U.S. and Lee the U.K and western Europe. Accredited GeoExchange Drillers are licensed in their respective areas and accredited by the International Ground Source Heat Pump association as Installers. AGD uses a master drilling contract within the AGD group. Each project is then a job "or site specific" drilling contract attached to the master drilling contact as an addendum. Each AGD member brings knowledge and best practices to the ground heat exchanger installation that is not generally available to the owners. All AGD drillers have the experience of the other drillers to draw upon to improve their performance installing ground source heat exchangers and solve site specific drilling issues.
Each AGD member is experienced and trained in conducting (by direct measurement) conductivity, deep earth temperature and HDPE pressure testing.
